  1. Longevity. We have been in the retail website design business since 1998.

    Over twelve (12) Years in the Web Business. We will be around long after the college student closes shop, the hobbyist decides web design isn't for him or her anymore. And if the larger vendors get bought out, or merged — we will still be your single point of contact. We are one business dedicated to fulfill all of your website needs.


  2. Business and Technical Education Combined with Practical Expertise. Our principal has both an MBA for business, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He is hands-on in all aspects of the business.

    Marketing Integration. We can help our small business and non-profit organizations with much more than just a website. We can help define the marketing mix, align the web channel with other current marketing programs, or help define the Product/Service, Price, Place (Distribution), and Promotion aspect of the business. Then when it comes time to deliver the site, we do the implementation.


  3. Established Business Staff. We have long-standing relationships with graphic artists, Flash designers, and programmers.

    We have established staff to manage your projects. We won't try someone "new" as an experiment. New people are always tested on in-house projects first, to make sure their quality is first rate.


  4. Established Data Centers. We have worked with the same data centers and server lease companies since 1998.

    We have 24 hour, 7 day a week service with our data centers and server lease companies which allows us to reach people day or night, any day of the year. If there is a problem, we have the resources to get you up and running.


  5. Redundant Servers. We have dedicated web servers in three different cities in three different states. We plan to expand to more in the future.

    Website Mirroring and Disaster Recovery. We have procedures for disaster recovery, and we offer a very reasonable website mirroring service so that updates are simultaneously done on both sites. If one data center should experience problem, your mirror site is still functioning. Mirrored sites include backup email accounts.


  6. We Write and Edit Content. We can create standard text for your website, and help revise, edit, and spell check your content.

    No more 1 sentence web pages. Our marketing side creates newsletters for different organizations. We are here to help you create your text, refine your content, look at industry specific material and help revise it so it becomes your own creation. We take the difficulty out of web page content creation.


  7. Manage Domain Names. We manage domain names including registrations, renewals, and transfers.

    Don't lose your domain name to unethical predators. Have you received "fake" invoices which are actually domain name transfer forms? Forged emails that look like real invoices are a problem for clients who don't deal with domains on an everyday basis are a serious problem. We will be your administrative contact so that domain renewals are managed and you won't lose your names due to an expiring credit card or a forged email.

    Have you received an email asking for ICANN verification? We help you with the ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) request that all domain administrators or registrants review domain name contact data annually, and make any changes necessary to ensure accuracy.


  8. Toll Free Service. We have a 1-800 number for our clients.

    Call us toll free for service. You will actually reach us, and not just an automated voice response system.


  9. Great Contact Us Forms. We are constantly trying to improve website usability with great contact us forms that also protect clients from spam.

    Is your contact us form a link to an email address? Or is it a tiny form without all the information you want? Our contact us forms are as small or large as you want, with as many fields as you want. They can be stored in a database for live access or emailed to any number of recipients.

    Have spambots filled your forms with junk? We use the Carnegie Mellon University CAPTCHA service to make sure that your forms are filled out by human beings. A CAPTCHA is a program that can tell whether its user is a human or a computer. See our Contact Us form for a real life form with CAPTCHA protection.


  10. We give back. We actively purchase ads from our non-profit clients. Or are you a for-profit organization who is raising money for a charity? We will help.

    Send us your advertisement form and if at all possible, we will support your event.


  11. We continually do research. One client needed contact us form spam protection. We spent weeks testing and researching systems until we found the right one, deciding on Carnegie Mellon's CAPTCHA team to work on protecting our clients.

  12. Continual website improvement. We are always working to improve all our websites.

    When introducing Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or locking databases for page counters multiuser access, we retroactively updated every site at no charge.


  13. Streaming multimedia experience. We have extensive experience in streaming MP3 audio and video. We use the latest Adobe Flash Video technology to stream video. We use custom audio players to stream audio.

    All our sites have the ability to stream audio and video.


  14. Principal who is an active Adjunct Professor at the University of Phoenix. Since 2002, our principal has taught evening classes in web design, marketing, and management at the University of Phoenix.

    We not only stay current from working with technical students who drive for cutting edge websites, we also receive the latest material (textbooks) on aspects of web development through the university.

    Since September 2, 1999, we have been on EBAY. We have managed our own EBAY store and can offer you technical expertise in setting up your EBAY store. Need something simpler? We can set you up with a basic account to purchase items, and a PayPal account to pay for them.


  18. We have leadership experience in non-profit organizations, including holding regional offices for non-profits in 4-state territories. Our non-profits include educational organizations, church groups, medical / disease prevention groups, and general philanthropic organizations.

    We understand the non-profit committee decision making process. We are patient, and can work within your budget period and/or grant allocation and distribution criteria.


  19. Help Desk Management experience. Our principal managed a 2000 computer, 10 person help desk for four (4) years before founding Baywalk Web Development.

    We have technical contacts at Dell, Best Buy (Geek Squad), and Foothill Computers (local to southern California) to help you solve your problems onsite. We have extensive Windows XP operating system expertise and can help recommend a stable operating system for your working environment. Our graphic artists all use Macintosh computers and we make sure all our sites look good in the latest versions of Internet Explorer, FireFox, and Safari.


  20. BlackBerry expertise.

    We have technical expertise in setting up your BlackBerry with POP3 email, and applications like Google Maps (get real-time traffic and look up businesses while on the road), Facebook, Twitter, and more.


  21. We offer basic business startup help, with many of the things a new sole proprietor needs.

    We can help you with fictitious business statement filing and publishing (DBA), opening a new free business checking account, open up a low cost merchant processor for taking credit cards (or Pay Pal). We refer to trusted attorneys who can help setup a LLC or S Corporation. We refer to trusted accountants who can help with bookkeeping or tax preparation.

    Our telecom expert has 30+ years experience with wiring, including voice, data, and video. Includes flat panel TV installations and low voltage electrical work.

    Our marketing side can create newsletters and commemorative albums, then follow through with our full service printer to make sure publication gets handled from creation, printing, and delivery.

    What do you do with your newsletters or mailings? We can help with our full service mail house. Includes bulk rate sorting and discounts, shrink wrap, and address printing (in lieu of labels). They also do insertions ("stuffers") which can include flyers, brochures, and postcards.
